Oyster Plant Park Location: Poulsbo, Washington
This site of a former oyster plant is a popular place for kayakers, visitors, and the north Kitsap community. This pro-bono project features a concrete sculpture with a grassy overlook, native plantings along the shoreline, a viewing platform with tables & benches made from recycled plastic, interpretive signage, and ramp-accessible boat floats. Designed for picnics, general viewing, kayak launching, and small craft tie up, Oyster Park Dock is an example of Craig Architects’ commitment to community development: the firm worked closely with the local Rotary club on design, and participated in construction. |
